  • Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate and within scope of practice.
  • Support patients experiencing claustrophobia, anxiety, or emotional distress by providing clear communication, reassurance, and compassionate care.
  • Safely lift, transfer, and position patients as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about imaging procedures and address questions or concerns.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the department.
  • Perform X-ray, fluoroscopy, and/or CT examinations as needed.
  • Operate and maintain MRI and imaging equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and departmental procedures.
  • Clean and care for imaging equipment and accessories and report maintenance or service needs.
  • Monitor and maintain imaging supplies and notify leadership when inventory needs to be replenished.

  • Establish strong working relationships with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of protocols used across different clinics and physician practices.
  • Remain calm and effective when working with anxious, pediatric, or medically complex patients.
  • Consistently prioritize patient safety, MRI safety, image quality, and exceptional patient care.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
  • Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited JRCERT program.
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI and Radiologic Technology, as applicable to the position.
  • Current California CRT and CRT Fluoroscopy certification.

Preferred:
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical imaging or healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patients.
  • Experience performing multiple imaging modalities, including MRI, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and/or CT.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
